Can’t believe what I’ve found!!!! I spent the day with Alec’s lovely mom. Suddenly it struck me to ask whether or not she had any recordings of him at the piano available: “Sure, I have them all!”

AT THE AGE OF 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sylvie (his mom) told me how pissed off she was when he walked out onto the stage with his shirt untucked and a shoelace untied. But that didn’t last long. 

Best with headphones and sorry for the poor quality, but WHO CARES?! 10 YEARS OLD!!!!

I had to cut it out, but once the applause dies down you could hear one of the adult competitors say, “That’s one powerful kid! Can I rent his left hand?”

So proud.
